I was immediately drawn in to the creative process with you doing your thing and another “random” drummer at my side. I, of course, was having a great time with the music, but what was really enlightening was seeing the effect it had on your visual component of that moment. We had the pleasure of “collaborating” on two pieces. I truly felt that you were influenced by what I was doing on the drum along with the music. I equate it to a jazz performance. We were improvising, me with the audible, you with the visual; there was communication. The two pieces, while similar in flavor, were unique in content. And I know that the music played a big part in what was produced…
And, I am working on some orchestral pieces that once finished I want to bring by to see if you could put some color to my sounds…..
Gratefully yours,
Tim Winter
