Asheville Citizens Gather to Celebrate 10 Years of Jonas Gerard
Asheville citizens came together on May 18th, in coordination with the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, for the 10th anniversary celebration of Jonas Gerard Fine Art. With coverage by the Asheville Citizen Times, the event also brought attention to the River Arts District’s bi-annual Studio Stroll, held the following weekend.
Saturday, May 20th was also a special day for the Gerard galleries and family.
Durring the annual River Arts District Spring Studio Stroll,
the artist produced five paintings for auction and gave 100 percent of his proceeds
to local veterans non-profit, Helios Warriors. Jonas is also a veteran, joining the U.S. Army in 1959.
